Balutto associated is an atelier in constant ferment, a creative workshop funded by Adriano Balutto, born in Manzano in 1944, and enriched few years ago by Veronica Balutto, who gives a new creative contribution.

Adriano Balutto is been in the designing field for the past 30 years. He creates artistic shapes, stylistic, productive and marketing strategies for leading companies of the furniture and chair sector thus contributing to their success on global markets. Balutto enjoys traveling the world over to capture the new designing trends, cultures and potentials of other people and countries.

Balutto designs home programs and designer objects, integrated programs for offices and contract, arrangement of exhibition spaces, showrooms and trade fairs. Balutto received several awards, even at international level, for his designs, like 14 Top ten and 3 Young & Design .


Bethan Grey

Welsh born Bethan Gray is best known for her liveable, honest, and warm designs. She first came into recognition when she was awarded the Habitat Innovation Award by Tom Dixon at New Designers in 1998. Working closely with Matthew Hilton during his residence at Habitat, Bethan was made Head of Furniture Design before embarking on setting up her own studio in 2008.

Bethan has since gone from strength to strength, and is now regarded as one of Britain’s most celebrated designers. Recently establishing G&T – a new collaboration with Thomas Turner and also attracting the attention of major retailers including a collaboration with John Lewis to create their exclusive Noah collection, The Conran Shop and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. Bethan is also a regular contributor to STYLUS, one of the leading business-to-business intelligence, design and inspiration resources, and a visiting lecturer at Central St Martins.

Bethan Gray designs are contemporary, elegant, pure and simple in form, with intriguing details to excite with an emphasis on pieces that have understated luxury and longevity with a nod to the essence of British design. Bethan uses high quality material and craftsmanship is emphasised throughout the production process, further accentuating these qualities. With a particular passion for the warmth of wood and leather, as well as the appeal of stone and inspired by shape, texture and detail, Bethan is inspired by her travels and the everyday objects that that surround her.

Bethan’s accolades include Elle Decoration Design Awards 2007 and 2008 – Best High Street Retailer, Elle Decoration Design Awards 2005 – Best in Kitchen, and New Designers Award 1998 – Habitat Innovation Award.
